Politics
is our specialty
We have made 20
million campaign calls for the
nation’s
most demanding clients. A number of our clients have been with
us for years. They prize the combination of excellent service,
fast turnaround, crisp execution and professionalism that Voter
Roll Call brings to every job.
Trust
your do-or-die traffic to Voter Roll Call
We
are not a broker, not a reseller, and not a middleman. We
are not a mom-and-pop operation. We have written and developed
our own proprietary technology, to achieve the highest-quality
call fidelity, and run our own telephone operations center.
Calls originate from our premises, and are overseen by our
professional staff.
Before you hire another firm, ask where your
phone calls will be made from. Many of those who claim to
compete with Voter
Roll Call do not own a single phone line. They are simply middlemen,
who “broker” calls between you and a call center.
If something goes wrong, the middleman will often be the last
to know, and will not be able to help you.
At
Voter Roll Call, all calls originate on phone-lines we own
and maintain, here at the Voter Roll Call Operations Center.
That number varies slightly from season to season,
but in general, we maintain four, route-redundant, carrier-redundant,
fiber-optic DS3 circuits on our premises, each with 672 phone
lines, for a total of 2,688 phone lines onsite.
This is one of the largest GOTV call center
installations on the East Coast, and can handle 150,000 calls
an hour. Other
call centers may quote you a higher volume, but be aware of
two things: 1) that may be a theoretical capacity that is derived
from outsourcing calls to other “overflow” sites.
2) Capacity above Voter Roll Call’s stated capacity may
not be useable for any one particular job, since there are
not enough “terminating” phone lines in a given
geography to accept a larger outdial effort.
One or two phone factories may advertise 10,000 phone lines,
but these factories are quoting theoretical capacity that includes
phone lines that are set aside for inbound calls and other
non-political applications. No factory of any size can offer
you the personal service you get at Voter Roll Call. Voter
Roll Call jobs are executed by people who on average have 10
years of experience in this line of work, and who have a direct
stake in the successful completion of your calls. You want
the name and phone number of the person who is going to see
your job through from order placement to fulfillment: at Voter
Roll Call, we give it to you.
Voter Roll Call has been optimized to offer
to our clients that “sweet spot” of large-scale,
professional execution, combined with personal service. We
believe we offer
our clients a value that cannot be touched by other call centers
of any size.
In October of 2000, there were a lot of campaign
managers who felt smug that they had negotiated a low price
with a Call
Center for their final weekend of Get-Out-The-Vote calling.
In some cases, we were told about deals that sounded “too-good-to-be-true.” Sure
enough: we got calls from some of those same campaign managers
on Election Eve: the Call Center they had been so smug about
had “melted down” from the load of calls it had
over-committed to run. No calls were going out.
In a few cases, Voter Roll Call got phone calls
directly from a competing call center, asking Voter Roll
Call if we could
fulfill on their commitments, at any price, because the competition’s
untested or flimsy technology had crashed, failed, or otherwise
melted-down. Voter Roll Call was proud that it had made no
commitments that it could not honor. Voter Roll Call was proud
that our clients in 2000 – just like in all other years – got
what they ordered: crisp execution, fast turnaround, excellent
value for their Get Out of the Vote dollar.
And most of all: our clients got peace of mind. The peace
of mind that comes from knowing that you have hired a professional
to handle your Election Eve calling.
If another vendor drops the ball for you on
Election Eve, it’s too late to fix the problem. You may have worked
for months to win, only to lose on the last day, because you
don’t get your voters to the polls.
Remember:
On Election Eve, There Is No Tomorrow. Do not trust your
calls to an amateur.
